LONGO TRANSPORTS was founded in the early 1950s when Silvano Longo began to have his first experience in freight transport in the Venice lagoon by working with lagoon transport companies of the time.
In 1970 he made the decision to walk alone, bought his first boat, opened his sole proprietorship in lagoon freight transport for third parties and used his loading and unloading point in Barche Square in Mestre.
Since the company’s inception, we have never stopped: our equipment, engines and tools are modern and state-of-the-art. We are the first in all of Venice to use hydrogen hybrid engines in our boats, and we are pleased to have been pioneering innovation and credibility for years now.
